We support children in war-torn regions to protect children from the effects of war

Story

We have chosen War Child as our charity because we have been very influenced by the scenes of suffering children we have seen as a result of the numerous conflicts around the world.  We want to do something to help children who are less fortunate than we are.

On 1st April we will be taking part in three activities to raise money for War Child.  The Big Red Silence represents the fact that war children frequently have no voice as they may be in hiding, cannot talk about what has happened to them or are unable to speak the language of the country in which they are refugees.  The Big Red Walk signifies that war children sometimes have to walk long distances to escape violence, find safety and to get food and water. The Big Red Dance indicates that war children are often unable to enjoy life as a child. Staff and girls will learn a whole school dance routine to remind ourselves how fortunate we are to be able to dance.

Thank you for sponsoring us for our Triple Red Challenge.
