Story
Last year the "South West Hill Trekkers" climbed up Mount Snowdon for the second time and they are doing it again on Saturday 18th June. Why? Many of you will no doubt ask well the answer is simple in order to raise loads of money and increase peoples awareness of the Love Hope Strength Foundation which is a charity very close to our hearts.
Unfortunately this year the charity are not climbing Ben Nevis so as a group we intend to concentrate all out efforts on this climb. As last year we have all decided to join forces with our fundraising campaign so this page is supporting the WHOLE team - Gareth & Kirsten Hayward, Sean & Sarah Whittle, Martin & Nicola Bayliss, Simon & Karen Scott, Duncan Smith, Helen Curley, Ann Longega, Sally Winton, Clive & Heather Brooks, Roger Jackson and Ian Leedham.
So you know where your valuable donations go.....The Love Hope Strength Foundation is a charity that promotes innovative, music related, outreach and awareness programmes for leukaemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families. Their mission is simple - to save lives and they use the funds raised to purchase medical equipment and supplies, raise awareness through special events, documentaries and media, build cancer centres and recruit potential donors to the organ and bone marrow registers.
We are sure with your fantastic donations it will keep us focused and our weary legs pumping tall the way to the summit and to achieve our goal of raising £2000 for this very worthwhile cause.
