Fundraising for Crohn's In Childhood Research Association
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself, Craig Adams, Andy Agar, Steven Aveyard, Danny Mitchell, Craig Popplewell, Craig Schietaert and Mark Schietaert will be cycling from Loch Lomond to Leeds which is approximately 300miles via lake Windermere.
The tough challenge will see the team average 100 miles per day on the bikes and also have one day kayaking approximately 15miles on lake Windermere.
With a trusty backup team of Mark Adams, Jason Sanderson and Pete Rennie we will have opportunity to put all our energy into completing the challenge and wouldn't have been possible without them.
We will be riding in loving memory of a much loved young man Josh Sanderson. Josh lost his brave fight to Crohn's but will be always remembered,and the team will take Josh as inspiration to complete this challenge and raise awareness and much needed funding.
CICRA is the only UK registered charity formed solely to support the ever increasing number of children and young adults with Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis (Inflammatory Bowel Disease – IBD) and their families.
CICRA also supports other peer reviewed medical and scientific research, through three further funding streams, aimed at finding more effective treatments and an eventual cure for Crohn’s and Colitis
