Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I turned 6 years old this month. Mummy and Daddy asked me if I might like to help other people or animals for my birthday. It didn't take me long to decide that for my birthday, I'd like to help save a tiger!
I think it is a great idea but it took a bit of time to understand how I can help save tigers. Mum had to explain lots of new things to me like:
- What fundraising is,
- That I don't actually meet a tiger and tell them that I am here to save it,
- There are things called charities, which are a group of people who help others to understand how precious tigers are,
- That the money we donate gets used to help save them.
We've talked lots and lots, but I think I understand...I am 6 you know!
I am very excited and have been busy telling all my friends that for my birthday I get to help tigers. Mum and Dad have helped me set up this fundraising page so that friends or family can join in the fun.
If you'd like to help too, I'd love you to make a donation. I'll be happy. Mum and Dad will be happy (something about 'having too much stuff already') and I just know that the tigers will be happy. I hope it makes you happy too.
I've set a goal of $250 but we don't need to stop there. I'd like to raise as MUCH money as I can and help LOTS of tigers. $2 here, $5 there, it all adds up.
