Whirlow Hall Farm is a local educational based charity, who work with children and young people to give them experience in farming and teaching them about where food comes from. The charity works with schools, groups who experience financial and other disadvantages or special needs. 

As a social worker, I have experienced a number of children not being in school full time and accessing alternative educational provisions. For children to attend sessions at Whirlow Hall Farm its gives them purpose, confidence and brings education to life for them. Not every child can cope with mainstream education and that is why it important me to support this local educational based charity.
