For the last 13 years I have been Brown Owl of 8th Woking Brownies.  I am retiring from this role in July but wish to remain associated with Girlguiding as I am passionate about the opportunities that it offers girls of all ages to develop skills and confidence whilst having a lot of fun. Hopefully many of you will have fond memories of your Girlguiding days.  (If you enjoyed your Scouting days then you are also very welcome to donate!!) My mother was also a Brown Owl.  When I saw the challenge to cycle from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Ankor Wat in Cambodia I felt I wanted to do it in her memory.   I can't run so a marathon is out of the question. I am hoping that cycling will be more my forte although it will be further than my 2 miles to and from the station each day!
