Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know my lil bro David passed away at the end of January. David has suffered with severe OCD and had also been diagnosed with Asperger's. Although he was still very much effected by this, in recent years he had overcome a great deal and was starting to live his life more.

Through this very very difficult time my friends and family have been amazing and without them I wouldn't be able to get through this. 2 of these amazing friends Diana Derrick and Sarah Roper have agreed to run the Bristol 10k with me on the 15th May. I am dreading it as I don't particularly enjoy running-but being able to do this with my friends and knowing we are raising money for such a good cause will keep me going.

Mental health is something that still isn't talked about much and still has stigma surrounding it. Statistics show that each year 1 in 4 people suffer from some form of mental health issue; so the chances are each one of us will know someone suffering from mental health problems. Mind is a charity which aim to support people going through this difficult times and ensuring they are not alone.

Please please please we would love It if you guys could sponser us! we're doing the hard bit- the actual running but you guys can join in by donating :) any amount no matter how big or small will be put towards helping others in their time of need.

Thank you so much
