Dear Friends and Family

As you may know it's my Bar Mitzvah next May. Over the last few months, I have come to realise how lucky I am to have a stable family life and great friends. I feel I want to give something back and support a boy in Israel who is also celebrating his Bar Mitzvah this year but who is less fortunate than me. With the help of my Mum and Dad, I have found out about a Bar Mitzvah programme run by a charity called AMIT.  AMIT helps educate thousands of disadvantaged Israeli children, running foster homes and caring for kids whose parents unfortunately can't look after them for all sorts of reasons. I am going to raise as much money as possible so that my twin can have a Barmitzvah to remember and have decided to do my own Triathlon. "Sam's Triathlon" is going to consist of a 750m swim, a 10k bike ride and a 5k run. My twin is a boy called Lior and on the 26th October this year I am going to meet him in Jerusalem with my family for a special mitzvah party. With the money you help me raise we will help to give Lior a very special Bar Mitzvah day.

My Triathlon is going to be on Sunday 16th November, starting at Barnet Copthall and then finishing at the Heath Extension.
