We supply emergency medical equipment to help save lives in rural Scotland

Story

For many years I have wanted to ride across Scotland. Earlier this year my eldest son Iain (age 13) suggested we do this together and that we could also raise money for charity. For a 13 year old this is quite an adventure! We will be starting in Fort William and ride the 70 miles to Inverness over 5 days, camping each night.

The difference with our ride is that we will be doing it western style. We are riding two of our home trained horses in western tack, carrying all  our own kit and will be unaided for the trip…no B&B's!! Only absolute essentials will be carried for the ride…midge spray and waterproofs included!!

The Sandpiper Trust does a fantastic job providing medical bags in rural Scotland for immediate first aid response….in short...SAVING LIVES! please have a look at their website www.sandpipertrust.org. There are no paid staff and therefore all funds raised go to help save lives.

A Sandpiper Bag costs £1000 and it would be amazing if we could raise enough for at least one more!!
