I believe and am a part of the Santa Maria Foundation because they empower girls and open the doors of opportunities to underprivileged young girls in Colombia by providing therapy and support through music and education. We are a small charity with over 50 girls so far, we see and monitor real changes in the girls, It’s important to invest in our future generation who then will change the world.

I believe that in the developing world, millions of girls are denied their basic human rights, simply because they are girls. Every day, girls face discrimination and unique barriers to their survival and development. Yet, we know when girls are empowered they can lift themselves and everyone around them out of these barriers from poverty. Girls with secondary school education are 6x less likely to marry as children. When a girl receives 7 years of education, she will marry 4 years later and have 2.2 fewer, healthier children.

I wanted to help and support the Foundation in the wonderful life mission they are doing for these beautiful children. Every child deserves to have an opportunity for a brighter future, we all have a woman or a girl that we care about so let’s help these little ones.

I have been involved with the Santa Maria Foundation who support orphaned and abandoned girls in Colombia South America for over 5 years now and my life commitment is to help them grow.

I would like to invite all my friends and family to support me in this challenge, I will run the London Marathon for these orphaned and abandoned girls. For all who know me, Yes I love fitness but running is something I don’t really do and a HUGE mental challenge!! I want to empower the girls; show them nothing is impossible.

Every penny of your support today is a seed of growth in the form of equipment, clothes, daily items, education material, therapy needs, care and more that’s why we believe in Santa Maria Foundation. 100% goes to the benefit of the girls.  As for LOVE we feed them this unconditionally!!
