Christmas is the season for giving and we hope that you can give, give and give some more. As yet we have no major grants for next year to stay afloat, so it's precarious, but we are determined to continue to provide free camera and media training and to pay the volunteer centre rent – most importantly – to make programmes which challenge mainstream misers and make the case for human ingenuity, free speech and progress. We'll be finishing our C.L.R. James documentary too and if we can raise the cash it will feature much unseen footage.

We don’t have rich parents, grandparents or estranged aunts, we don’t have a sugar daddy, sugar mummy or sugar parent of self-defined gender either – we rely on our friends to keep us afloat. It’s with your continued, generous support that we’ve managed 21 years of WORLDwrite and it’ll be down to you to help us manage next year.

For our Christmas appeal, in our very own Santa’s Grotto, WORLDbytes volunteers have challenged the bah-humbug politics that have dominated the year so far. Safe spaces, state snooping, the plastic bag tax, fatty food fears, PSPO’s, the Prevent strategy, migration panics, Russia bashing and overpopulation doom-mongers who see humans as numbers rather than minds are definitely OUT. IN for the New Year are more freedom, more growth, more consumption, open borders and more people on the planet with unfettered free speech as the bottom line.
