I've been a 'vollie' for HSW for over a year - It's bloody hard work...can be heart breaking...but seeing a broken animal turned around and made better makes it all worth while. The charity does amazing work, working tirelessly for horses and donkeys but not turning any animals in crisis away...funds are always desperately low with enormous bills to cover the animals care. Every penny goes to that care, no wages or expenses are taken by anyone.

Giving up booze wouldn't be a big enough challenge for me(I rarely drink) and I don't smoke. Giving up chocolate, added sugar, cakes, sweets, biscuits, white bread and fizzy drinks for 31 days will be absolute hell. I live on that stuff!!
