I have recently become of member of SWVG and have been incredibly impressed by the support they provide for asylum seekers and refugees in Southampton and Winchester. This fantastic charity works tirelessly to provide advice, friendship and financial support to people who have sought safety from war, torture and oppressive regimes. At a time when those seeking sanctuary are being vilified by the press and many politicians, I feel that SWVG's work is even more important than ever. Any sponsorship I receive would be both appreciated and effectively used to make a difference to people's lives.
