On the 16th of June, we are off to Delhi for a month to volunteer in one of Delhi's slums for Asha; a charity that empowers the slum community through education and building projects. During the day we will be teaching English to some of the students in the slums, and as we will be in the slum clinic, we hope to help with some of the healthcare.

All of the money raised will be going straight to the charity, towards putting the students in the slums through university. We are both covering our own expenses. £450 covers the entire admission and preparation process and all University expenses for one child for one year, including University preparation workshops, University tuition fees, course books and new clothes so that the children do not feel out of place when they go to University.
