Story

I'm running the Dublin Marathon in honour of my Mum, Esther Kenny. She lost my Dad in 1983 while undergoing treatment for breast cancer and despite her loss, she fought a brave and dignified battle until her death on 29th October 1985 age 46. My Mum was a caring and giving person who often put the needs of others before her own. I want to honour her courage and generosity by raising money for St Luke's Hospital, in her name, as they cared for her with great respect and kindness during her illness.
