Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
On 24th April, I'll be running 13.1miles through Blackpool. I'm hoping this is a much flatter course than the Plymouth Half Marathon that I crawled through last year... I'm doing the run partly as a bit of a challenge for myself and also in order to raise money for a really worthwhile charity.
Dive Ability is a member led scuba diving charity enabling people who have disabilities or disadvantages to get scuba diving. The aim of the charity is to make the sport accessible to as many people as possible regardless of physical ability or background. Dive Ability is totally dependent on donations, all money raised is used to directly benefit disabled and disadvantaged divers, for example, purchasing and maintaining equipment, pool sessions and compressor costs.
By running the Blackpool Half I'm hoping that I can help contribute to Dive Ability's mission of getting as many people as possible in the water and enjoying the crazy, exciting world of scuba diving.
More information about the charity can be found here: www.diveability.com.
