Story
Its Sarahs birthday on the 17th November and we're doing a birthday charity fundraising for her. Sarah can afford to buy anything she wants so this is something nice we can all do as fans to celebrate her birthday. Sarah requested this charity this year, so come on people dig deep and lets raise lots of money for this amazing charity.
Luna was diagnosed at just 18 months with an Ependymoma brain tumour. She fought so incredibly hard for 4 years and 5 days and along that journey she taught us all many things. One was to never give up. Which we never did. We searched all over the world for treatments to save her and took her to 3 different hospitals in the US for different therapies.
This is why one part of our charity was born. We know as parents that we tried everything possible for our little girl and we draw great comfort from that and that is something we would like to pass on to other parents. The chance to visit other clinics or hospitals where they believe there may be hope for their child's brain tumour. We will fund travel and accommodation and costs towards preliminary tests to see if their child is suitable.
The other side of our charity is to send children and their family with terminal brain tumours to Euro Disney. This was Luna's favourite place on earth. In the last 3 weeks of her life we took her there twice and cherish those happy memories.
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page! To celebrate Sarahs big day by raising money for Luna's Little Stars to help them give hope and grant wishes to children with terminal brain tumours. I’d be really grateful for any donations, and if you’d like to share my Page that would be amazing too. Thank you.
