Story

I will be celebrating my 40 Birthday in October, which for anyone is a milestone, however for someone like myself who was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease (cancer of the lymphatic system) when I was 24 it really is something worth celebrating.

Having married my partner Paul in June this year he announced to everyone during his wedding speech that for my birthday he had booked and paid for me to go wing walking!  It is something I've always wanted to do but never thought I'd actually get to do it.

Well it’s come around and all being well I'll be doing it this Saturday (weather permitting).

Unfortunately the Civil Aviation Authority have deemed it illegal to raise money for charity wing walking.

So before the wing walk I will be turning myself into MR SHEEN and polishing the plane!  If you would like to help celebrate both my madness and the fact that I will be celebrating my 40 birthday please sponsor me to become MR SHEEN.

If anyone wants to come and watch me polish the plane followed by the wing walk display it will be at Breighton Aerodrome, Selby, Yorkshire, YO8 6DS on Saturday.  I have been told to be there for 1.30pm and believe everything will be done within 1 hour.

Thanks in advance.

Jane
