We provide counselling and coaching to help children turn their lives around

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Nearly 10 years ago Ed organised for the two of us to take on an epic walk up Mount Kinabalu during our honeymoon. Even though tensions got a little frayed half way up, we made it, and a further ten years on we felt it was time to take on another walking challenge!!

Slightly different scenery, but just as dramatic, the South Coast Challenge calls. So, boots at the ready, we will be walking 54km (possibly 10 feet apart) on 27th August in order to raise money for a very worthwhile charity, Signpost Counselling.

Signpost offer free and confidential counselling, coaching and other support to 10-25 year olds. They help by listening and supporting children and adolescents who may be dealing with difficult issues such as depression, anxiety, abuse, bereavements, dependencies and many other concerns. I have just started doing some voluntary admin support work for them and am seeing and hearing first hand the amazing difference they make.

Signpost is dependent on the support of the community and donations in order to keep being able to provide valuable services. A little helps a lot!!

Ed and I are very grateful for any donation you can make.
