Hi everyone,

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I am fundraising today as part of "birght for Sight" to raise money for GoalballUK.

I was born with a visual impairment due to Albinism and, while it hasn't stopped me much in life, it did mean that I was always bad at ball games and found myself excluded from team sports.

Just over two years ago I started playing Goalball and it has changed my life! I am actually good at sport and have gone from Novice to International level.Last month I went to Hungary to represent Great Britain at the European Championships which was an incredible experience. I hope there will be many more opportunities to represent GB. 

Goallball is a fast paced, tactical team sport specifically designed for people who are visually impaired or blind.

Goalball has also giving me the opportunity to meet many other visually impaired people. We can share experiences, laugh together and support each other for the tough times.

Without GoalballUK I would never have been able to realise my potential at sport.
