A good friend of mine, Dan Lister, has a son, Sam, who was diagnosed as being deaf deaf from birth.

Dan learnt about East Cheshire Deaf Children's Society and quickly became involved with the Charity. ECDCS is run voluntarily by Teacher's and Parents of deaf children in the East Cheshire Community and their aim is simple: to make a difference to the lives of deaf children and their families. Dan, a few others and myself are participating in a Coast to Coast bike ride covering 140 miles (Lake District, North Pennines and Durham Dales) to raise valuable funds for ECDCS in order for them to continue to make a difference to deaf children and their families. Please dig deep to support this worthwhile cause.  It will be the motivation I need to see me over the line!!
