On the 10th of July I will be running the London 10k in memory of Dan Doherty. Now I never had the pleasure of meeting Dan myself but after speaking with a few of my colleagues I soon realised the effect he had on those who knew him and what a fantastic person he was. Its an absolute pleasure to be running and raising money which will be going towards building  a school in Nepal, in Dan's memory. This school will provide catch-up education
for vulnerable children from marginalised communities, who have either
dropped out of school or never been, so they can be reintegrated into the
mainstream education system.

 On the day I aim to complete the 10k in a fairly reasonable time. Unfortunately I have agreed to run in a Nottingham
Forest shirt which for me being Liverpool fan isn't ideal (Thanks Dan
Gardner) I'm sure you won't let me live this one down any time soon.
