Three months earlier than expected, Sebastian Marcos Hicks Duarte came to this world on Feb 16th 2012, giving mummy and daddy a big scare. He is currently putting on a good fight towards recovery, thanks to the coordinated efforts of teams of doctors from at least two different hospitals - Princess Royal (Haywards Heath) and St. George's (London).

We are trying to help other babies like Seb to rely upon the appropriate care, which is much more than a matter of equipment or personnel. That is the reason we are raising funds for Bliss, the national charity devoted to the cause of premature and sick babies. Their efforts are as diverse as psychological support to families and the funding of new techniques and therapies aimed at improving survival chances. 

We have benefited greatly from this charity already and while Seb battles on we'd like to raise money for other little ones too.
