Story
Aloha!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page :-) I have set myself a huuuuuge challenge for March this year and am trying to raise as much as possible!
Half of all money raised will go towards CLL Support Associan and the other half will go to Cancer Research UK. CLL Support have agreed to write Cancer Research a cheque at the end for half of the money raised
This is my mammoth plan for next year...
18th March I will be running in the Rome Marathon, 25th March I am running the Barcelona Marathon, 1st April I have arranged a group skydive, 8th April I will be holding a 'closer to the cure' fete day, 15th April I am running in the Paris Marathon and on the 20th April I have arranged a Charity Ball
My mother was diagnosed with CLL about 2 years ago, this is a form of Lukemia and while she is now recovering seeing first hand how this has affected both my mum and family has really inspired me to do something to try and show my support.
Please dig deep and give anything you can for this great cause. With 1 in 3 people now being diagnosed with some form of cancer we have all been affected by it in one way or another.
Please also have a look at my artical in the ET or listen to me talking to John Griff on BBC Radio..
