Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page,

Willies Orphan Fund came about as the result of one man's reaction to the horrors of the 2004 Boxing Day Asian Tsunami and especially the effect it had on young people orphaned in Thailand. Today, the fund provides ongoing support to many children still effected by poverty and the disaster that left many of them without families. The charity aspires to provide support for these children and the opportunity of a brighter future through educational and pastoral support.

Many children in Thailand are orphaned at a young age suffer from lack of support and direction to recover from their past experiences. Our aim is to provide these children with a brighter future. Through education the orphan fund has successfully helped many children to rebuild their confidence and and improve their outlook on life. Many of the charity's  orphans have come from homes where they have been abused mentally and physically.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for all your interest and support for such a worthwhile cause.

All the best,

Shane.
