We provide free conductive education to help children with cerebral palsy

Story

My gorgeous nephew Oscar was born in March 2014, 3 months premature.

Oscar was born with 2 heart conditions: Long QT and heart block, he had a pacemaker fitted in the first few weeks of his life and is a little fighter!!

In addition, Oscar has Cerebral Palsy and he now regularly attends sessions at Stick 'n' Step in Wallasey, where he gets fabulous support and help.

Stick 'n' Step centre provides much needed free support to children with Cerebral Palsy and their families from across North Wales and the North West of England.  It is their aim to give a disabled child the chance to learn vital life skills, despite the restrictions of their disability.

Many of the families that they work with are told that their child may never be able to walk, talk or live an independent life, but when those families, their children and their team of dedicated professionals and volunteers work together, the results can be truly amazing.

Since 2002 the charity has grown from strength to strength, now supporting 70 children every week.
