We are members of a Bike Group, The Raven Riders of whom hold numerous charitable events to raise funds and awareness for Shropshire & Staffordshire Blood Bikes. Following the consumption of alcohol it was suggested that Tough Mudder North West 2016 would be a fantastic opportunity to raise much needed funds. In total 12 bikers have volunteered to team up and run this 12 mile 24 obstacle military style assault course, in September.

WHO ARE BLOOD BIKES?: It is the early hours of the morning and a hospital urgently requires blood, currently hospitals within Shropshire and Staffordshire have little choice but to call a local taxi company to collect and deliver the blood. the hospital would then be charged retail rates for this service, which can cost between £200 - £300 per trip.

Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood Bikes is an emergency VOLUNTEER service, providing urgent and emergency transportation of life saving medical supplies to the NHS Foundations across our region. They also transport Breast Milk, patient notes, and even surgical equipment.

MISSION STATEMENT: 

To support the NHS by provision of out of hours courier transport.

To save the NHS money, which is currently diverted from direct patient care

To promote a positive image of the motorcycling community within wide society

To promote safer riding standards

All this is done on a voluntary basis, in order to continue this service much needed funds are essential. Please support our chosen charity, and us The Raven Warriors by donating to our page.
