Story
Bob and I have finished our climbs of 3 of the highest hills in England - Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Skiddaw. We climbed Scafell Pike and Skiddaw on the May bank holiday weekend despite snow on the Skiddaw - we had to put Helvellyn off until the following Saturday because of poor weather. We did 7500 ft of ascent and had some aching bones as a result. The money we raise will put the finishing touches to the Grace Little Centre for Disabled children -which is the dream of my life - we so near to getting it finshed it is so exiciting. Grace Little Centre is named after a family carer of a man with disablities who left us a donation in her will. The centre is a state of the art centre for respite and actvities supporting the most disabled young people. It has accessible. bedrooms, assessible kitchnen, sensory room, activity room ,soft play and out door play - it has been built over the last 18 months mainly through donations and sponsored events- we are almost ready to open and just need a little more to complete the work- so please help. I have decided to sponsor a computer for the actvity room from the wish list with your donations.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
