The Sheriffs, Alderman Charles Bowman & Dr Christine Rigden, are undertaking a ride around the City of London on the morning of 27th July - on horseback - what could possibly go wrong [especially for complete novice, Christine]!  We will be dressed in our Shrieval finery, and escorted by a mounted contingent from the HAC Light Cavalry, and the City of London Police. Starting and finishing at the Old Bailey, this colourful group will visit a number of Livery Halls, and other sights. There should be many opportunities for photographs en-route, and also raising funds for the Sheriffs' & Recorder's Fund [www.srfund.org.uk]. This extremely worthwhile cause makes small donations to ex-prisoners and their families in London to help them stop offending and start a new life .
