After previous Christmas party successes, we would like to repeat the appeal this year.  Despite their tough home lives, the children have worked really hard at school over the past months, and they deserve a little fun, so if you could help us fund a great Christmas party, it would really give them something to look forward to this Christmas time.  

Instead of sending presents for individual Shika sponsored children this Christmas, we appeal to those who would like to send gifts to please donate the money you would normally spend towards a Christmas party that all the children can be part of.  We have found, in the past, that it is very difficult to transport gifts from abroad and not all the children benefit.  This way everyone can have a nice time.

Thanks to your generous donations last year the children had a wonderful time with lovely food, live music, games, dancing and everyone received a Christmas gift.   So we would love to repeat the fun this Christmas too.
