Story
The Adams family are raising funds for education charity SHINE's "Shine on Saturday" programme in loving memory of Louisa Adams.
Louisa began her teaching career in Windsor in 1976 teaching Maths and has inspired many children over the years as a Primary School teacher. Her husband John and sons, David and Nick, can attest to her passion for teaching in creative ways with memories of her spending evenings at home preparing fun activities to use in her classroom.
In recognition of Louisa's belief in the importance and power of education and her understanding of the variety of ways in which children learn, we are raising funds for a project run by education charity, SHINE. The "Shine on Saturday" programme is based in London and Manchester and aims to improve the attainment and engagement with core subjects, including Maths and Science, in primary school children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The creative curriculum emphasises excitement, enrichment and activity-based learning with outside trips.
By donating to SHINE you can be sure that your money is going to make a difference to the project because SHINE’s trustees cover all their annual operating costs.
