Sparky was a friendly, laid back and lovable husband to Shirley and father to Jessica and Jordan. Known to his family and  friends alike as someone who was fun,loving and realiable.

Sparky was unfortunatley diagnosed with a brain tumor in early 2012. This came as a complete shock to everyone who knew him as up until then Sparky had always been very fit and active visiting the gym regularly.

As a group we are doing the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for St Nicholas hospice for the excellent care and attention they gave Sparky during his final month with us. All of the staff done an outstanding job of caring for Sparky and still continue to stay in contact with the family. Nothing is ever too much for them.   

As a group we are doing the 3 Peaks challenge in 24hours. Climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. The group members are Shirley Christie, Lea Ansell, Morag Ransome, Tamsin Ransome, Lorraine Donley, Jacqui O'Neill, Joanne Taylor and Angela Butcher. Please support our Challenge and help us raise some much needed money to help St Nicholas Hospice continue the wonderful work they do.
