Story

I am an 81 year old with Multiple Sclerosis, hence, I use a wheelchair to live life. This hasn't always been the case, I worked until I was 49 as a professional healthcare provider, until my MS made it impossible to continue with my much loved career.

I have known Sasbah for over 40 years due to my long friendship with Jean Arnold who had Spina Bifida. Sadly Jean passed away a few years ago. I have continued to support the work of Sasbah and especially through my enthusiasm for raising awareness and funds for good causes.

Sasbah provides so many great support services to so many local people with various disabilities. I was honoured to be asked to become an Ambassador last year during their 50th anniversary and as part of my efforts I am looking to raise as much money as I can for this worthy cause.

Despite my own health I am sure I can complete this challenge to help others. Recently I have been involved in a serious accident myself and I am currently recovering. I need to use this challenge as a focus and purpose to get well before September...
