We support vulnerable children in Ireland to change their lives for the better

Story

Hi my names Shoba Durham I'm 22 years old and live in Dublin

I've set myself the massive goal of running the Dublin City Marathon in 2016

Having just started my training I've a long way to go..
After signing up I realised I had to really think about what charity to raise for. This is when it gets confusing, so many charities and all so important. Many that has effected those around me: cancer, diabetes, epilepsy etc..
Yet thinking about it all I decided to keep it personal. I'm adopted so I picked Banardos. They used to deal with adoption issues, as well as many other support services for children. They work with vulnerable children and their families.

Barnados Ireland have an aim 'making Ireland the best place to be a child'

Every little will help a lot

Thanks for reading and thanks even more for donating :)
