Story
Having completed my skydive in September 2014 and having had the pleasure of being invited to the Star Awards to honour the work the Saints Foundation does within the local community, I always felt that there was more I could do.
Hearing the stories of the people whose lives had changed, for the better, after taking part in the Saints Foundation activities, I couldn't walk away doing nothing.
Since September, I have been trying to think of what I can do next to raise money for charity and to top the skydive as it was an amazing experience. Once I heard about the trip to Lesotho, I knew this was what I had to do as it involves raising money and visiting the people you are doing it all for to help imp[rove their lives.
The Saints Foundation works with Kick4life on a football and education programme that uses sport to deliver health education, HIV testing, life skills development and support into education and employment for vulnerable young people. Lesotho has the third highest HIV prevalence in the world and more than 100,000 children have been orphaned by the disease.
I will be organising charity events over the course of the next 18 months before I go and details of these will be posted on my page and many other media outlets when the details have been finalised.
It is a great privilege to be able to support this trip, take part and make a difference. You can make a difference to by making a donation on my page. Anything you can donate will make a difference so play don't delay or keep an eye out for the events I will be running if you would like to get more involved.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
