As some of you may or may not know, for the past year I have been organising a trek to Nepal to complete the Everest Base camp trail, and apparently just taking part in the challenge (and risking getting taken hostage by mountain goats) just wasn't good enough....

I've decided to support a local Nepalese charity called Asha Nepal, who work closely with young women and children in the community to prevent abusive and exploitative situations such as sex trafficking, and domestic child labour. Their main goal is to empower women from less privileged backgrounds through education; something that will stay with them for a lifetime.
