With a wide range of inspiring drop in and organised wellbeing activities, the Foundation welcomes over 12,000 visitors each year (older people, adults with disabilities, and excluded young people) in a relaxed and inclusive setting.
In recent years the Foundation has seen a significant increase in visitor numbers, and our beautiful (but older) buildings are unable to provide sufficient accessible space to be fully inclusive and meet demand. Many of our current activities have waiting lists, which in real terms means potential visitors remain isolated or cannot take part in activities which can enhance wellbeing.
To provide sufficient accessible space to meet existing requests, and allow us to further extend the excellent charitable services provided for more visitors, the Foundation has exciting plans to build the Ulverscroft Activity Centre. The Centre will have 580sqm of accessible space, will be open 0830 - 2200 daily, and will offer up to 100,000 visitors a year the opportunity to take part in inspirational, social and educational activities.
You can help this Centre become a reality, and help the Foundation to help others:
