Story
2 years ago my sister, Caroline, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was only 40 and the diagnosis turned my family's world upside down.
Without the incredible work carried out by the NHS I dread to think what would have happened.
B.U.S.T., the Breast Cancer Unit Support Trust, raises funds to support the work of Southmead Hospital Breast Care Centre to enable them to provide first class patient care and to support innovation with the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, not available through the NHS.
Before last year I had never even run 5km but in July I'm running (well I might have to walk a bit of it!) 100km along the oldest path in Britain to the stone circle at Avebury. Race to the Stones is an ultra-marathon 2 day event but I don't like camping so I'm going to try to complete it in a day.
Please sponsor me so that other people and their families can be supported through the work of B.U.S.T., all the money donated to the charity goes directly to patient care.
