Story
After a courageous 7 years and at the age of 42, Ray Watts lost his battle with cancer. His brave fight and the way he conducted himself through that period were a true inspiration to many people.
Ray spent a few weeks at St Lukes hospice in Basildon. The specialist care and compassion given to Ray was exemplary. The excellent care and support given to Amanda, Ray’s wife and Lia, his daughter has continued to this day. They provided a homely and friendly atmosphere, and support for family and friends who visited. They go that extra mile!
In honour of a dear friend that’s sorely missed, Richard Hook, Chris Hearn, John Balcomb and myself will be jumping out of an aeroplane, hopefully with a parachute attached, on the 8th September 2012. Our hope is to raise a significant amount of much needed and deserved cash for St Lukes.
All four of us would appreciate any donations, please dig deep for a worthy cause.
Thanks
Martin
