Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2014 I rode the London-Surrey 100 with Ian Alford to raise awareness of and funds for Carers Worldwide.  The day was marked by the tail end of Hurricane Bertha, with rain and flooding most of the day.  But we stayed happy because Carers Worldwide is such a good cause.  Anil and Ruth work hard to improve awareness of and provide practical help for carers in developing countries, people who are often overlooked.  As a small charity they are able to make very effective use of funding, to deliver a real and local impact.  Anil has been meeting NGOs and government officials in India and Nepal to influence policy and promote provision of support and services for carers.

In 2016 I am again riding the London-Surrey 100 with Ian Alford, and we're keeping our fingers crossed for two things;  1. To raise as much as we can for Carers Worldwide.  2.  For the sun to shine!  So please give what you can.  Many thanks!
