I am delighted to be taking part in the Ian Brown Cycle Shop's 2016 30/30 challenge.  This involves a group of approximately 50 cyclists each cycling 30 rides (of at least an hour) each day for 30 days in order to raise funds for Les Bourgs Hospice.  

Over the 8 previous years, the  event has raised over £473,000, and has involved 242 riders and 11,340 rides!  It is quite a commitment for participants and I expect to clock up at least 500 miles over the 30 days.  

The hospice provides the highest levels of compassionate and professional care to patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses, as well as their loved ones during their time of greatest need. Patients are able to go to the hospice for residential, respite and day care and there is no charge.  The hospice is completely funded by public donations.
