Fundraising for Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland
Story
As many of you know, in September I began training as a volunteer for RCTN and in February 2016 I have signed up to walk on hot coals to help raise funds for this amazing organisation.
Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN) is a charity that provides services to women and girls over the age of 13 who live, work or study in Tyneside and Northumberland.
They provide free, safe, professional support and information to women who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.
They offer the following to women and girls who live, work or study in Tyneside or Northumberland:
Face-to-face counselling
Email support
Group work
Practical & Emotional Support
Specialist information
Telephone helpline
RCTN are for all women including, but not limited to, women who identify as Lesbian, Bi, Trans and/or Questioning; Black, Minority Ethnic and Refugee women; and disabled women.
