On the 6th May 2013, Kate James and Jaqui Sampson will begin an epic challenge to walk the 288 mile, gruelling Cornish stretch of the South West Coast Path in a mere 4 weeks.

There is method in their madness however as they aim to raise £4000 for the Sunrise Appeal (the Oncology unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital) and Cornwall Hospice Care.  The causes are very close to their hearts due to the excellent care provided to their sister Debbie before she sadly lost her battle against breast cancer in October 2011.

Kate & Jaqui felt they needed to give a little something back, and nothing seemed more fitting than to walk the entire coastline of Deb’s beloved Cornwall (and to eat plenty of cream teas, pasties and fudge along the way – an activity of which Deb would heartily approve).
