Carole and I are walking the 100 miles along the South Downs way from Winchester to Eastbourne, in aid of the Vintners' Foundation.

The Vintners' Foundation is the wonderful charitable arm of the Vintners' Company which, in recognition of the Company's history, aims and ethos, donates to a wide range of good causes and especially to wine trade charities addressing the social consequences of  alcohol abuse.

We will be carrying all our kit (well, Mike will be) and, while we won't be breaking any records, we will take over 200,000 steps and climb twice the height of Snowdon along the way.
