Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 31st Oct 12 our cousins Lee and Clare Mortimer were over the moon to welcome beautiful twin boys, Archie and Zack into the world. Devastatingly Archie's heart wasn't strong enough and he lost his battle to keep going just less than 48hrs later. Friends of the Baby Unit did an incredible job in caring and supported the family during this time. SoccerAdi is a charity football match and our way of thanking the charity for the amazing work they do.
If anyone fancies having a laugh, some family fun and helping raise some money for a good cause, I've organised a charity 11 a side football match (SoccerAdi) on Saturday 15th June 2013 at the Royal British Legion in Mickleover (Kick Off 2pm). The plan is to have a fun day for all the family with the men rolling back the years on the pitch, a bar for the spectators and entertainment for kids. All money raised on the day will be going to the Friends of the Baby Unit at Royal Derby Hospital, which is an amazing voluntary charity who raise money for life saving equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies. Please share with as many friends as possible, it would be great if you could join us on the day, any donations gratefully received.
Lee and Clare have done such an amazing job of raising so much money for the charity, turning a devastating event into something so positive and in turn helping so many. So proud of you both xxx
