Story
In the summer of 2015 I’ll be travelling to Tanzania with Lasallian Developing World Projects, where I will take part in a 5 week project to build a community hall to be used by the local school for teaching and for other community events. There are 121 million children in the world not in education, which makes it almost impossible for them to escape from poverty. By providing these children with more schools and places to be taught, we are creating a better life for them, and I believe this experience will also develop my skills for the future.
During my time on this project I will be staying in very basic accommodation with 11 strangers, and will be working in hot, humid conditions - typically from 8am-5pm. As well as construction work I will be teaching and playing with the children within the community.
In order to take part in this project I must raise £1,450 through fundraising. This covers travel, accommodation, food and building materials. I don’t expect a free holiday and will be seeking to raise funds through a number of activities - this page will be updated with more details over the coming months.
I’d greatly appreciate it if you could help me to reach this target by making a donation however small or large - every penny helps!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

Update:
This April I am cycling the whole length of Ireland, from Mizen to Malin Head. This will be a total of 352 miles, which I am hoping to complete in less than 4 days. Please be awesome and sponsor me for this ride! It can be as little 1p per mile, it all adds up!
