Story
I was born with Cystic Fibrosis and diagnosed when I was 6 months old. CF is one of the UK's most common life-threatening inherited diseases and affects around 9,000 people in the UK. Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food. I have to do daily physiotherapy treatment everyday and have recently managed to raise over £9,000 to buy a piece of specialist medical equipment to help with my daily physiotherapy.
After the success of this I have now decided to continue the fundraising in aid of the new cystic fibrosis centre that is going to be built at new cross hospital in Wolverhampton. The money raised will go towards adding final touches to the ward to make patients visits and stays in hospital that little bit more bearable.
