Story
Hi My name is Sophie Picot! I am 22 years old and live in Jersey.
On Tuesday 23rd August my Dad, Nick who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis was supposed to pursuing his dream of doing a Tandem Skydive over Jersey from 10,000ft. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he is now unable to do it for his own safety. He is obviously incredibly disappointed by this and I am incredibly gutted too. I felt it was important to do it for him as the sky dive was also being done to raise money for the Cheshire Home (where he now lives) whilst pursuing his dream.
I will be jumping out of a perfectly safe plane (AHH!!!) and free falling at 130mph which will then be followed by a 5 minute parachute ride (in which I am hoping I can relax a bit!).
The Cheshire home is a fantastic charity that provides care and support for adults who are living with a range of disabilities and may have difficult health situations.
They provide residential care, day care, Aquatherapy and also Physiotherapy.

Money donated/sponsored for this event will all go towards the daily running of the homes to provide amazing care for all the wonderful residents and also towards making residents like my dad dreams come true.
Without the Cheshire Home, families like mine would find it incredibly difficult to cope in these hard, life changing situations and I really hope that you will agree with me that this is a fantastic cause.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me to hopefully reach my target of £300!
