Story

Thank you for taking the time to read our JustGiving page. This is our first year on JustGiving and we hope to raise awareness of phenylketonuria or PKU which is a condition both our young daughters Sophie and Lucie suffer from. We would also like to raise funds for the NSPKU as it is an invaluable source of information, guidance and support to us and many other families. The charity funds, amongst other things, food testing for suitability for PKU sufferers. Testing a new food item costs £155 and offers people like Sophie and Lucie a bit more variety in an extremely limited diet. The society also research better treatments for this condition which Sophie and Lucie have a severe form of. We hope to raise money in many different ways with the help of our friends and family so please dig deep and donate what you can to the NSPKU as it has become such an invaluable part of our daily lives.
