Story
Your favourite sports team is back with friends. Sophie, Emily, Prince, Ben, Wil, Enrico, Libby, Zach, Chris, Josh, Talia, James, Gabi, Ciaran, and George are taking on the challenge of the TackleAfrica 12 HOUR Brighton Football Marathon!
Although we're so ridiculously far away from being the greatest footballers ever, we do make up for it in other ways (unfortunately not fitness). We're really going to struggle.
As if fitness isn't pain enough, doing this football marathon also comes with this warning: "Apply vaseline to any bits of you that you’re particularly fond of – chafing is a number one concern. Inner thighs, soles of feet and nether regions are high risk."
We do this blister-fully hard event to raise money for the amazing work of TackleAfrica who use the popularity of football to deliver HIV education to young people to ensure they make informed and safe decisions about sex. Right now they are working in Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Kenya with 18,000 12-18 y/o males and females in order to limit the devastating impact HIV can have on families and communities. They have dramatically reduced the prevalence of HIV & AIDS and need your support to continue. They only have 3 full time staff in the UK, meaning all of your kind donations go straight to the projects. Find out more at www.tackleafrica.org or at facebook.com/tackleafrica.
We really appreciate every little donated!!
